Join the Wilson Area School Health (WASH) Team! We are looking for a passionate behavioral health provider who wants to join us in providing behavioral health support through our growing school-based health centers in Wilson County.
Schedule: This is an hourly part-time position that is not benefits eligible. This position has the option available to follow the 10-month seasonal Wilson County Public School schedule.
Pay: Hourly rate will start at a minimum of $30/hour but will be dependent upon relevant education and experience.
 
The Clinical Social Worker serves the School-Based Health Centers in Wilson County to foster a healthy student community through the provision of accessible quality behavioral health care to influence health habits and behaviors that promote the development of young minds and bodies that are ready and eager to learn, eventually becoming productive members of society.
Once students/parents complete our enrollment application, we serve all patients regardless of ability to pay through a sliding fee program in addition to accepting most private and public insurances. This position will help us begin addressing the youth mental health crisis by meeting the students where they are. The clinician will focus on providing rapid access to high-quality and evidence-based interventions to address a broad range of medical, substance use, and mental health conditions (such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and ADHD) by delivering brief, targeted, diagnostic assessments and interventions as a part of an interdisciplinary team. The clinician may provide consultation services to students, school staff, and even family members and other stakeholders if a part of a care plan. Master’s degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of supervised social work experience as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.
Necessary Special Qualification Requirements - One must fulfill all requirements for Licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.
